I pre-ordered ome eisy unit. I own two ISY994/IR Pro ZW.
One unit is on 4.x
The second unit is on 5.x
But after migrating to the new ISY with 5.x some of my programs stopped working.
And I lost the setup of a 6 and 8 wall switch.
And some of my Motion Sensors are no longer working properly.
I wanted to get everything fix and working like I originally had everything which was great.
Due to health issues I sort of lost interest.
I need somone that is familiar with the ISY system to come over to my home and just re-set the modules that are not working correctly.
I also depend on Motion Sensors. But they too are acting wacky.
I have a box load of the new Motion Sensors that can be hard wired as to ditch the battery operatored units.
That would be a god send to me.
As I said I am going to migrate to this newer EIsy that a lot of us are pre-ordering.
I am curious as to what a HDMI PORT is doing on this new machine.
Sounds like its going to be able to do something very interesting.
Can’t wait!
So if you are good at the ISY system programming and live in the NYC area. Please contact me. I will discuss in further detail of the help I need.
I have limited time slots as my time is managed now even though I am–I’m retired.
However, I am a dialysis patient now. And need to make my body available from 2:30 to 6:30 on Monday Wednesday and Friday.
Also if you need any additional detail please send me an email via the forum.
Thank you so much.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas

What happened with the Polisy? Why was it offered for such a short period of time? The ISY 994 set an expectation that UD devices were around for the long haul.

Robert, due to supply chain issues we had to move to a different platform.

I’ve been with Universal Devices for many years and the purchase of an Elsy unit will be my third hardware upgrade. My current ISY994 has been running for many years without with no issues.
I’m interested in the Elsy, but am unable to find any document that helps define and justify the cost of the new hardware and why the ISY994 is being discontinued. Due to the Insteon issues and failure rate I have been slowing changing over to Z-wave so I’m not as locked into Universal Devices as I was in the past.
Will this unit still integrate with my M1 Elk panel ?
Will it interface with Brultech Energy Meters ?
Do I have to repurchase all new modules ?
What is the total cost of the upgrade ?
Is there a sheet that compares features of the ISY994 to Elsy ?
Has the software interface improved ? (no longer need to run separate Java program)

Hi Mark,
Will this unit still integrate with my M1 Elk panel ?
Yes, using a node server. The cost is $30.00 but if you already have the ELK modules, it’ll be $15.
Will it interface with Brultech Energy Meters ?
No.
Do I have to repurchase all new modules ?
Which modules do you have?
What is the total cost of the upgrade ?
Is there a sheet that compares features of the ISY994 to Elsy ?
Unfortunately not.
Has the software interface improved ? (no longer need to run separate Java program)
No
